In January 2020, UEL/West Ham United Foundation students in sports management participated in a career workshop with the ENGIE Park team. This workshop allows students to have an insight into the world of Facilities Management including soft services, hard services, security, visitor services and events so that this can then be applied to their courses.
The students were then provided with a number of role-play scenarios set in our venues which aimed at getting students to think about Facilities Management and the many challenges faced on a regular basis. They were provided with briefings and tasked with creating innovative solutions to tackle real life operational challenges.
